What is Student Affiliate Membership?

Since you are studying with a music teacher that is a member of a local association of MTNA, you are eligible to join that local association (Mid-Cities Music Teachers Association) as a student member.

Membership costs $13 for one year.

Why should I become a Student Affiliate Member?

Membership opens up the opportunity for you to participate in many enjoyable, education, and beneficial activities. In order to participate in the following events, you must be a student affiliate member:

• Theory Test

• MCMTA Recital

• Composition Contest

• Publication Competition

• Performance Contest

• Piano Ensemble Teams

• World of Music Test

The following events do NOT require Affiliate Membership:

• Mr. Carney's Studio Recitals

• Fall Festival

• Sonata/Sonatina Festival

• FWMTA recitals

• Chamber Music
